Spring Cleaning (Open)

Bree smirked at Jack. [color=white]"of course. There would be no reason for me to return, other than shop. Thank you again, Jack."[color=white] Gabby accepted Bree's offer to escort her seemed to take some reconsideration. But the girl said yes, and Bree gave a slight shrug. She wasn't in her uniform so to speak, and it was a part of her helpful nature to offer. Nodding "no problem," she led the way outside, giving Jack one last wave.

The borrowed clothes were starting to feel uncomfortable for the Terran Guard. She missed her leather and her boots. Above all, she missed the feel of her sais tucked into her booths, or beneath her sleeves for easier retrieval. Bree held a thoughtful look, nodding to other civilians who gave Gabby a curious glance before returning to clean up. The Rift Beast had left quite a mess, the explosion sending muck and dried filth from its remains flying in all directions. Fortunately, the mess could be contained since it occured mainly in the town's square.

Librium, with their Humans and Others, could quickly clean up the mess with a little more cooperation. Sometimes, people can't help but point fingers. Gabby, being the stranger with her strange uniform, might either stir some negative or positive reaction. People were always strange. Again, Bree felt that it was better for Gabby to have shown up here than other places. She probably wouldn't recieve the same amount of hospitality, but Elyria might be treat her just as good.

The streets were classic in a way. Cobblestone paths and concrete, as well as black pavement made the sidewalk and streets. Some streets were narrower than other, similar to a European alleyway. Other streets would probably remind Gabby of her own, but a touch of unfamiliarity was still there. The power was much different. Mana ran everything here, and it was treated like electricity would.

Bree had been quite during the walk, but as they neared their destinations, she would turn to Gabby and ask, "are there any more questions you'd like to ask, Gabby?" Slowing down, the pair reached Sullivan Street. Across from them would be the bed and breakfast Jack described.

Gabby continued to study the strangeness of this city. Everything was so foreign, yet familiar. She just couldn't piece it together to figure out WHY. There was an answer here somewhere, she just wasn't seeing it. She needed some time to do some independent research. Read some newspapers, check the internet, and put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Gabby smiled at Bree in thanks. "I can't think of anything," she said. She has TONS of questions, of course, but none that she could ask safely. "I appreciate all your help. Being new to the city it was definitely nice to meet someone so kind."

"Is there a way I could get in touch with you again?" she asked. Having a contact within the Terran Guard mouth prove useful. It was another aspect of Gabby's agency training: gather resources whenever possible.

After collecting whatever contact info Bree might be willing to share, Gabby gave the woman a small wave and headed into he inn. After she got a room age would start doing some research, and be in for quite a shock when she realized where and WHEN she was...

Bree smiled. Surely this was overwhelming to Gabby, but Bree couldn't understand why. Her scent. Her state of dress. All of that was rather foreign to Bree, even though Gabby harbored the appearance of a citizen, whether she was in Elyria, Bastion or here. Bree couldn't put her finger on it, but in the end, she surmised the girl strange. Bree might have to keep an eye on her.

Bree shook her head gently, "I do what I can to help anyone in need. You look like you could use some extra help. I hope you find all of your answers. She looked up to the inn Gabby would be staying at, putting it to memory before glancing down at Gabby.

Of course. You could find me in three places, by the Municipal Building on guard. Ask the innkeepers, and they'll tell you where, or contact Jack to contact me. Headquarters is in the Wasteland, but I don't want you to risk that journey. At least not yet. Bree crossed her arms to look over Gabby, "you have great potential, and don't forget to ask for Donahue. Mitch is my partner. He gets kinda iffy around strangers." she winked and waved to Gabby. She watched the girl disappear into the inn with that amount of information and others, before turning to make the trip back to HQ.
