PostSubject: One of Those Nights (Canon ICC, Daven)   Sat Dec 08, 2012 5:53 pm

June 16th, 222AC

Daven Nevad had been gone for awhile as he had been working the strings behind the scenes on a few plans he had in mind and tonight was the first night that saw him on the prowl in a long time. His time away had done more then allow him to simply get his ducks in a row but he had refined himself a bit and become a new breed of evil all together and the world would soon see exactly what it is he had become. He carried himself in a much more relaxed manner and seemed to have an air of confidence rather then arrogance about him. The only thing that did not change was that his eyes held the same hunger within them for destruction and blood but seemed to carry it more intensely then before. He was looking for a bit of fun this evening but he had yet to determine exactly what kind of fun that would be.

Vanessa Sirnos strode down the sidewalk, confidence and power in every step she took. She was the type of woman that when you saw her every warning bell in your head went off but you still always managed to try and talk to her anyway. Normally she didn't like the company of other people, her's was more of a solitary life, but she was still human, and once and awhile her skin would begin to crawl and she knew exactly what she needed, a good fight or a good fuck and either one would work for her tonight. The furred hood of her fitted jacket was up, framing her red hair and silver eyes, her hands were shoved into the front pockets. Beneath that she wore her customary leather and Kevlar body suit, meant more of combat then a stroll through the dark streets at night.

Daven Nevad was drawn from his thoughts when the kind of fun he might be looking for managed to walk right past him in the form of a delicious looking female. He caught the sense that not only would she be fun but also a bit of a challenge in taking down regardless of how he decided to work the situation. He spun on his heel and did a one eighty before walking up next to her and smirking. "Nice night huh? No cheap lines or cheesy idle chat I just want to know if your looking for some company while you walk." He wasn't in the mood to play games and the way she carried herself suggested that even if he was it would not have worked.

Vanessa Sirnos didn't stop her movements but she did turn her head slightly to regard him from beneath her hood, with her right eye of course. Handsome enough she supposed, had the right attitude anyway. "I suppose you may join me, though whether or not I want company remains to be seen." she said, not bothering to offer her name as he hadn't given her one. She wasn't about to be nice to him just to spare his feelings, mostly cause she didn't give a shit, he approached her and had to have known he might get told to fuck himself.

Daven Nevad shrugged in response and a smirk managed to find its way to his face as he turned to regard her a bit more while keeping pace with the young firecracker. "So whats the plan then? World is our oyster and all that bullshit so we may as well take it for all its worth while we have the time." Getting to business seemed to be working so far and far be it from him to fix a tactic that wasn't broken right? "Your choice on what it is we do as I am just along for the ride. Name is Chris by the way."

Vanessa Sirnos arched a brow at him. "That's a lie but it doesn't really matter. you can call me Artemis. I see some shots of whiskey in my near future, think you can handle that?" she asked him. She wasn't offended that he lied to her, it didn't matter to her anyway, distance was just the way she liked it, she was simply stating a fact.

Daven Nevad nodded as she mentioned the whiskey and when she called him on the lie he didn't seem to flinch but rather to smile in response. "The question is...can you keep up?" His demonic grip on the body meant that it took a lot more to impact it then a normal person and because of that he only ever really consumed alcohol when he was out at a bar trying to score a meal or a toy. She wanted to drink however and although it was not the most fun thing in the world he would oblige her while he figured out what it was he wanted to do with her.

Vanessa Sirnos the corners of her mouth crept up into the beginnings of a smile at his question. Cocky bastard...too bad that was the way she liked them. She turned the corner and moved into the bar waiting for her, she didn't come to this one often, made it easier to hustle them at darts that way. She didn't bother to check and see if Chris was following her but she did reach up and push back the hood of her jacket, letting her red hair finally show. Nessa moved to the bar and ordered two shots of whiskey, when the bartender cam back, she would tell him to leave the bottle.

Daven Nevad followed her into the bar and took a good look around as he had become very situation aware in his time away. As the woman removed her hood he got a better look at her face and gave himself a mental pat on the back before moving next to her and calling the bartender back over. He paid for the bottle that she had ordered and waved him off before picking up his shot and holding it before him with a smirk "Winner pays, that's my rules." He downed his first shot without waiting for her and poured his second but held the bottle as he waited for her to down her own so he could refill it.

Vanessa Sirnos couldn't help the smile that crossed her lips at his bravado, any other night and she might have decked him and just left it at that, but not this night, not with the itch burning beneath her flesh. As he threw back his shot she did the same, closing her eyes to enjoy the fire that trickled down her throat and then set her glass down so Daven could refill it. "What made you pick me?" her question would make it obvious that she knew what he was after and just didn't care. Vanessa wasn't like other women, games and romantic bullshit weren't her way.

Daven Nevad pouring her a shot as well he picked up his glass once more and seemed to stare at it for a moment before he answered. What came out was the truth which was something that was rare for him "I have been away for awhile on business and I saw a pretty girl walking down the street alone. Couldn't decide if I was looking for a fight or a fuck but I could just tell that either way you would be a challenge and that was enough for me to take charge of the situation." He downed his shot and picked the bottle up again to refill it before adding "still have yet to decide what it is I am after."

Vanessa Sirnos arched a brow at him and thought seriously about stabbing him in the hand with the dagger up her sleeve. "Been about twenty years since anyone has called me girl, The last one was missing a few teeth when I was done with him. You're lucky you're pretty." she teased him, tossing back her shot, she set the glass back on the counter with a soft tinking sound. "Well, I'll try not to disappoint you."

Daven Nevad Refilled her shot glass and took his down before refilling it yet again. Cocking his head to the side he smiled and gave a slight nod "Sorry I am just used to the normal sluts that I happen to talk to and have not met or even spoken to an actual woman in a long time. Guess that's gonna set my plans back a few steps but I'm sure its nothing a little whiskey can't fix." He picked up her shot glass and his and downed them both before taking the top off the bottle for a swig and then handing it over to her. "Fuck it, no need for us to use those little shit glasses."

Vanessa Sirnos enjoyed his honesty, it was refreshing, most tried to butter her up with flowery words and more lies, so far the only thing he'd lied about was his name...and it wasn't like she could fault him for that seeing as she was doing the same. A soft chuckle left her lips as he held the bottle out to her, the sound seemed foreign even to her, it'd been too long since anyone had managed to find her sense of humor. She took the bottle from him and brought it to her lips, swallowing down about four shots worth before handing it back to him. The chill she'd been feeling outside was now well and gone and she was feeling perfectly toasty. "Well, now that you have a real woman standing before you, what are you going to do about it?"

Daven Nevad took the bottle and had a long draw from it before setting it down on the counter between the two of them and giving a shrug. "I'm thinking the best way to handle the situation is to have very rough sex and see if we want to rip each others heads off after." He looked to her with another smile and then raised his eyebrows "Unless you don't think you can handle that challenge."

Vanessa Sirnos picked up the bottle from the counter between them and took another swig from it. "Careful sparky, I might just rip your head off now and save me some time." She thought about his words for a few moments though, while taking another drink from the bottle. "You're paying for the room, I don't want to see your place and you sure as hell ain't gonna see mine." she told him matter of factly.

Daven Nevad laughed for the first time since they started talking and picked up the bottle to take a long swig for himself and set it back down once more. It was about three quarters of the way gone already and he nodded "Fair enough but we aren't going anywhere until that bottle is finished. I'm a stickler when it comes to wasting good whiskey." Eating her was out of the question because while it was in his nature he found himself attracted to her direct speech and no bullshit attitude. If things went well then he may just try and bump into her again but if nothing else she would be a good partner in crime on those restless nights where he got bored.

Vanessa Sirnos smiled at him in her wicked, mischievous way. She was only beginning to feel the effects of the whiskey, it took quite a bit just to get her tipsy and she was far from that yet. She lifted the bottle and proceeded to finish the rest by herself, this was one night where she just couldn't bring herself to a give a shit. Malik would be frowning at her but the furball wasn't going to be a part of this night, she'd decided that much earlier. "There, waste not." she pronounced, setting the bottle back on the counter. "I don't really feel like wasting my time tonight, let's go Casanova."
