For any who don't know, November has been chosen as National Novel Writing Month (though it's not just limited to the states), where writers from all over the world attempt to power through writing a novel (50,000 words), from start to finish in 30 days time. (Roughly 1700 words/day)

I figured I would bring it up here, as everyone here likes writing so much, and giving enough time in advance to wrap minds around plot, setting, and character ideas.
I think this year will be my first legitimate attempt, so I may be slow in my writing here during that particular month, but if any are interested, I'd be glad to share my writing as I go.
The main goal of NaNo is to get in the habit of writing everyday. It's also about pushing through procrastination and writer's block for the 50k mark, so it's more about quantity compared to quality. As many have said, the first novel is always the hardest.
